“X marks the Spot! X (formerly Twitter) Introduces ‘Premium Plus’ Plan”

If you’re as tired of Twitter’s ‘uso-eleniko’ blue theme as much as we are, you are in for a treat. X, the social media platform that looks a lot like Twitter, and in fact, was Twitter, has unveiled its new $16 per month ‘Premium Plus’ plan.

“Boost your Ego, Boost your Replies”

In this era where everyone is trying to keep up with Kardashians, X helps you by boosting your replies. Yes, your golden words will now sparkle more in the sea of replies. The ‘Premium Plus’ offers the “largest reply boost” so that your ‘two cents’ carry the weight of a gold coin.

“Ads? Who Do They Think We Are?”

Snubbing ads is now easier than ever. The premium plan removes those pesky ads from your ‘For You’ and ‘Following’ feeds, transforming your X experience to a peaceful stroll through an ad-free park.

“Blue Checkmarks, Edits, Longer Posts – Oh My!”

For those of you still can’t forgive yourself for that grammatical error in a viral tweet from two years ago, X is now allowing you to edit tweets with its Premium Plus plan. They’re also adding longer posts, longer video uploads, and encrypted messages to their pantry. And yes, the much-coveted blue checkmark, previously the sign of the ‘in-crowd’, is now open to all premium users.

“Here’s a Hot Take”

So, folks, X has metamorphosed from Twitter, a scrappy bird chirping in the social media jungle, to a full-fledged peacock displaying its feathers with the Premium Plus plan. Here’s a hot take – at this point, they might as well change their mascot from a humble bird to a flamboyant peacock (or Phoenix?). While we’re not looking forward to paying $16 every month, we’re also desperate to edit our embarrassing typo-filled tweets from years ago. You win this round, X. You sneaky, sneaky peacock, you.
