The Curious Case of the Not-So-Cheap Mystery Gadget: Ai Pin

Everything’s worth a Grand these Days

Prepare those purses! The Ai Pin, the latest Mr. X of the wearables scene from a hush-hush startup named Humane, reportedly comes with a four-figure price tag peering around the $1,000 mark, and apparently, a monthly data subscription to boot.

Hot Take:

So, dear tech enthusiasts, it seems as if our new normal includes $1,000 gadgets that will translate sentences, make decisions about our diets and require their own monthly data plans. At this rate, they’ll soon be paying our taxes and posting our selfies. Ol’ Siri’s certainly going to need to step up her game.
